Saruni Donation

If each our Glow Getters contributed $30-50, we could raise over $1,000 dollars for our friends in Kenya, Africa. This amount of money would pay for a full semester of college for one of Saruni’s rescued girls.

You can make a specific donation and get a tax write-off by going directly to their website by CLICKING HERE. There will be a drop-down menu where you can specify “Glow Getters”.

We will be presenting Saruni International with a large check at our Glow Getters™ event to show our girls at home how kindness can travel around the world and change lives.

Glow Getters™ believes that girls should support girls. When we unite we can empower one another to do great things.

Saruni International is the charity we selected this year to support. Mark and Tina Hagen, founders of Saruni International, have dedicated their lives to making a difference for young girls ages 8-14 fleeing from a life of early marriage, poverty and so much more (video does go into more detail and may not be for all ages). Mark and Tina split their time between their home residence in Greeley, Colorado and the girl’s rescue center in Kenya, Africa. Saruni International has taken in over 125 girls over the years and given them a safe home, nutritious meals, clean water, solid education and support through their adolescence and into their early adult life.

Chianne Coffman, owner of Chy Creative and founder of Glow Getters™, has personally documented the every day life of a rescued girl living at the girl’s rescue center. Chianne sums up her 14 days in Kenya with the girls, “These girls have survived impossible childhoods and forged their way toward their right to live their best life… Saruni International has afforded them that hope thanks to the sponsors and donors who support this amazing organization.” Saruni International is truly a diamond in the rough.

We encourage a donation from all of our Glow Getters™, though not required. Let’s show our girls here at home that when we all come together, we can change lives and make our world better.
